AMC & product-related updates
New product launches were seen in the SIF segment. WSIF by The Wealth Company Mutual Fund introduced two funds — the WSIF Equity Long-Short Fund and the WSIF Equity Ex-Top 100 Long-Short Fund. The NFO period is open from April 15 to April 29.
The Equity Long-Short Fund will invest mainly in equities (80–100%) with flexibility to take up to 25% unhedged short exposure through derivatives, along with allocations to debt and money market instruments.
The Equity Ex-Top 100 Long-Short Fund will focus on mid and small cap stocks, with 65% allocation to this segment and limited long-short flexibility.
Gold ETFs saw strong inflows during the March quarter, with investments of ₹31,561 crore amid geopolitical tensions.
Regulatory & policy developments
SEBI has allowed companies to reduce IPO size by up to 50% without refiling draft papers. This relaxation is applicable until September 30.
Jindal Supreme has refiled its IPO papers with SEBI. The issue includes a fresh issue of 1.07 crore shares and an offer-for-sale of 26.86 lakh shares.

ICICI Prudential AMC reported a 25% rise in FY26 gross profits to ₹4,400 crore. The AMC serves 1.70 crore unique investors as of March 2026.
